Where Passion Grows is a work built through persistence. Layer upon layer, the painting kept changing because I could sense there was something more beneath the surface, even when I couldn’t quite translate it onto the canvas yet.

Rather than stepping away, I kept returning to it. Painting over, adding, searching and following the feeling that there was still something left to uncover.

All those layers now hold traces of that process: frustration, energy, doubt, excitement and an almost unstoppable urge to keep going. What emerged is a work about trusting that inner pull and allowing passion to grow through the process itself.
